Meet Dorina

I'm Dorina , a Level 5 Nutritional Therapist, 1:1 Health Coach, and UGC Creator for wellness brands. My work is rooted in one belief: real healing requires real honesty.

But my journey to this work started in the most unexpected place...

It all started in 2016. The late night of bonfire night in November when a nurse came into my room after 18+ hours of labour and pressed a button above my head that turned the whole room into blue with a very loud alarm sounding the walls..

A team of strangers came running in, a guy dressed in blue shoved a yellow paper in my hand to sign while they were pushing me away from my family. I didn’t even look, I signed.

I still remember the cold metal table under my skin and big bright lights blinding me from the ceiling while a lady was rushing me to drink something from a small brown bottle. There were over 10 people in that room.

I felt no pain during those couple of seconds which was weird because I was in agony. Adrenaline. I didn’t even have time to say goodbye to my husband or my mum.

The lady standing above me was about to put a mask on my face while she asked me to breathe deeply and count back from ten. I remember before she put the mask on me I said to her “Just save my baby”. I managed to get to 7.

I had a healthy pregnancy, yet experienced a tonic-clonic seizure. I was unresponsive, my baby was born without breathing and I was painfully unaware, laying on a table unconscious.

We were lucky. We survived, and on paper were very healthy. But then postpartum depression came with endometriosis and awful skin and gut issues.

Postpartum hit me really bad. I was dealing with endometriosis, cystic acne, gut issues, and a body I didn't recognise anymore with a mind I had to fight against every second of the day. I was exhausted, anxious, and completely disconnected from myself. I had multiple full-body panic attacks every day, some lasting as long as an hour.

The medical system had one answer: pills. Pills for postpartum depression. Pills for acne. Surgery for endometriosis. A "don't really give a shit" one-size-fits-all approach that treated symptoms but never asked WHY my body was screaming for help.

So I turned to nutritionists and dietitians, hoping they'd have answers. Instead, they pushed fad diets on me for a lot of money, and when nothing worked (or sometimes even made things worse), they told me it was MY fault. That I wasn't trying hard enough. That I wasn't following the plan correctly.

I was done being gaslit. Done being told my body was broken. Done throwing money at "experts" who didn't actually care about understanding what MY body needed.

So I took matters into my own hand..

With Postpartum came the biggest learning curve

I studied to become a Certified Level 5 Nutritional Therapist.

But I Didn't Stop There.

I dove deep into nutritional therapy, epigenetics, and the science of bio-individual healing. I learned how to read my body's signals, uncover my deficiencies, and create a plan that actually worked for ME.

But something was still missing. My mind was still somewhat against me.

But I also realised something crucial: healing isn't just about food. It's about your nervous system. Your trauma. The emotional patterns you've been carrying. The root cause behind the symptoms.

That's when I dipped my toes into Metaphysical Anatomy and the benefits of trauma-release. Because I knew that if I wanted to truly heal, I needed to address the whole picture, since everything is interconnected, we can’t just try to fix one thing without thinking of the others.

Now, I help people get off the exhausting cycle of trial and error, stop wasting money on advice that doesn't work, and start healing from the inside out, using a blend of Nutritional Therapy, Mindset Coaching, and emotional root-cause work.

Creating Content That Connects

As I was building my own health back, I started sharing what I was learning. I ran an online supplement store, created content around wellness, and eventually partnered with Cymbiotika UK - first as a creator, then as their Media & Business Development lead, overseeing UGC creators, content projects, and brand partnerships.

I also worked as Operations Director for another wellness brand, landing wholesale accounts with businesses that had never opened their doors to new partners before. One of my proudest moments was sitting across from representatives of a major retailer and securing a wholesale account - not because of fancy sales pitches, but because I could speak their language. I understood ingredients. I understood their values. I understood what their customers needed to hear.

That's when I realized: my background in Nutritional Therapy wasn't just for coaching. It was my edge in the content space.

Now, I create User-Generated Content for wellness, beauty, and lifestyle brands like Wild Nutrition, Epetome, Monday Muse, and APE Nutrition. But I'm selective about who I work with. If I wouldn't give a product to my family, I won't put my name on it.

I don't just create content - I create content that educates, builds trust, and actually resonates. I can spot greenwashing from a mile away. I can break down ingredient lists without sounding like a textbook. And I know how to speak to real people who are tired of being sold to and just want the truth.

Whether I'm helping individuals heal through 1:1 coaching or helping brands connect with their audience through authentic content, my mission is the same: to cut through the noise and deliver real value.

Because at the end of the day, it's all about integrity, authenticity, and trust.

I know what it's like to feel lost in your own body. To be told your symptoms are 'normal' or 'all in your head.' To spend money on solutions that don't work.

That's why I do what I do. Whether I'm helping brands create content that actually resonates, or helping individuals heal from the inside out, my mission is the same: to help people feel seen, heard, and empowered.

If you're ready to stop guessing and start healing, I'm here.
